Calendar

We’re big on events in Carson Valley. We do parades, car shows and gatherings for everything from Oktoberfest to Harvest Festival to how many kids we can get fishing at one time. Sporting events, from motocross races to bike rides and fun runs. Theater and historic reenactments, wine walks, concerts in the park and wildlife viewing, golf tournaments, 4-H events, rodeos and the granddaddy of all, Carson Valley Days, which just happens to be turning a hundred years old this June.

Not-to-be-Missed Events

• Carson Valley Days in June, a four day carnival, food fest, golf tournament, parade and concert series.
• Eagles & Agriculture in February, your best chance to view and photograph bald eagles. You get spotters, transportation, expert help and access to private ranches.
• Hot August Nights Poker Run, where you get up close to nearly a thousand of America’s coolest cars at Minden Park.
• The Harvest Festival at Corley Ranch, a month long celebration of farming and ranching, with a corn maze, farmer’s market, one of the largest pumpkin patches anywhere and a lot more.

Ongoing Events

The Carson Valley Arts Council brings concert performances throughout the year, and the Town of Genoa delights with its concert series, including the ‘Pops in the Park’ concert on July 4^th. Minden hosts concerts in its CVIC Hall and Town Park and the Town of Gardnerville ‘Movies in the Park’ at Heritage Park is a Valley tradition for families.
