Minden-Tahoe Airport is open 24 hours a day and provides easy access for both personal and corporate general aviation aircraft. The airport provides two active runways, the Main runway is approximately 7,400 feet long and 100 feet wide and the Crosswind runway is approximately 5,300 feet long and 75 feet wide. As you would expect at one of the leading soaring airports in the world, there is one additional dedicated Sailplane runway. Pilots will find clear approaches and excellent flying weather almost 95 percent of the year, an Automated Weather Observation System, Global Positioning System Instrument Approach, VASI and pilot control runway lighting. A wide variety of ground services is available as well. |
