Carson Valley is an outdoor adventurer’s playground, with activities all year-round.  Fishing might be Northern Nevada's best-kept secret.  Outdoorsmen come from all around the world to fish for the elusive cutthroat trout.  Fishing for rainbow, German brown, or cutthroat trout is popular at Topaz Lake, the Carson River, and streams and ponds in the valley.  The Carson Valley paired with the numerous rugged elevations of the nearby Sierra Nevada, provides hikers and bikers of all ability levels enough trails to explore for a lifetime.  Hikers enjoy the amazing views, lush green trees, vibrant wildflowers, and abundant wildlife.
