Saddle Up for Genoa Western Heritage Days

For one weekend in late April or early May, Genoa, Nevada honors its place in the history of the state and the west by presenting the Genoa Western Heritage Celebration. This year’s event will be taking place April 28th– April 30th, 2023.

As the oldest permanent settlement in Nevada and home to the state’s oldest thirst parlor, the three-day festival celebrates Genoa with demonstrations, live music, cowboy poetry, food events, a western art show, vendors and more. While the event’s name has changed over the years, the passionate volunteers behind this annual spring event have not. Hosted by the non-profit organization Friends of Genoa, this celebration is a loved and time-honored tradition, and fun for the whole family!
