WELCOME AND THANK YOU for your interest in volunteering to help support our exciting outreach efforts for this wonderful area. If you’d like to make a difference, meet new people, and are ready to help promote the beautiful Carson Valley through tourism, then we want to meet you! Genuine enthusiasm, a reasonable depth of area knowledge, and a servants’ heart are just a few of the core traits we’re seeking. We want to match your talents with our non-profit needs. We will train you during the onboarding process.

Here are some of the things we need help with: Assist with staffing the central visitors center, and the mobile visitors center at local events or festivals. Volunteers also help represent Carson Valley at tourism trade shows or other special activities both inside and outside the area. Specialty skills may also be valued.

Teamwork is central to our mission. As Henry Ford said “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” And we might add, it’s fun Mr. Ford!
