We are a small acreage specialty crop farm located in the Carson Valley. Currently, we focus on lavender and honey production, but eventually we would like to expand to other specialty products. We have created a garden that puts pollinators first, promoting the attraction and protection of both native pollinators and our honeybees. We have designed our space for people to visit and learn about lavender and pollinators.

Sierra Shadows Lavender hosts workshops that utilize the products grown on the farm as well as native materials. Our farm is a resource for other growers and the public at large to be used as an example for small acreage specialty crop farms. Our renovated barn serves as a year-round gathering space that can be shared and used for products even when they are not in season. We love to bring people to the farm to learn about and work with the products we produce. All that we do is inspired by our love of bees, native pollinators, and the lavender fields of France: from our educational talks, creative and fun workshops, to our handcrafted products we sell.
