Youth and Family Solar Viewing Event at Dangberg Home Ranch

Join Dangberg Ranch for a Stellar afternoon! The Friends of Dangberg Home Ranch and the Astronomical Society of Nevada invite families and elementary aged kids to a free, fun-filled afternoon exploring the wonders of our sun. The event is on June 30th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm; no RSVP required.

Activities Include:
Solar Viewing: Look at the sun through special telescopes provided by the Astronomical Society of Nevada.
Make Your Own Pinhole Cameras: Hands-on fun creating simple devices to safely view the sun.
Sun-Related Arts and Crafts: Creative activities that shine as bright as the sun!
