Favorite Chautauquans will appear throughout Dangberg’s 2025 Summer Festival performing a series of intriguing historical figures.
Tickets for the evening Chautauqua performances are $15 for ages 17 and older, and free for ages 16 and younger. Both member and general public tickets will be available at each ticketed event. Advanced ticket purchase is not available to the general public, but members of the non-profit Friends of Dangberg Home Ranch can contact the park for more information. June 11: Mary Ann Jung portrays Grace O’Malley—Ship’s captain and pirate queen.
June 18: Bowen Lee portrays Anna May Wong—First Chinese-American film star in Hollywood.
June 25: Roopa Mohan portrays Kasturba Gandhi—Civil rights activist and wife of Mahatma Gandhi.
July 16: Dorothea Phelan portrays Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus—Founder of the American Association of Retired Persons.
August 13: Steve Hale portrays Major General John C. Frémont—Reminiscence of his wife Jessie Benton Frémont.
August 20: Kim Harris portrays Elizabeth Van Lew—American abolitionist. “Southern Woman, Yankee Spy.”
