The Cottonwood Cottage has a long history starting out as a chicken coop and hay barn of Stephen Kinsey, one of the earliest settlers of Genoa. Within the past quarter century, the building served as a restaurant and bar; most recently the Tombstone Restaurant, and previous to Tombstone, the Incognito. And before it was the Incognito it was called Sierra Shadows Supper Club & Saloon. Cottonwood Cottage is a restaurant/bar and one of the best locations for small or large private events in the area.
Cottonwood Cottage is located 200 yards from the center of town so you and your party can spend time walking through town and visiting the gift and antique stores, the museum or spend time viewing the abundance of wildlife in the area. Your wedding and group can take over the town for a weekend to enjoy all that it offers.
The 3,353 square foot cottage sits on a .84 acre parcel with a large backyard grass area and plenty of parking for large groups. Indoors, the property can accommodate 99 guests with tables and chairs and 150 standing while outside, the property can accommodate up to 200 guests.
