Flow & Release: A Watercolor Workshop

In this two-hour, all-levels workshop, you’ll use water’s natural tendency to drift, bloom, and blend as a way into looser brushwork and a looser grip on “getting it right.” Through guided exercises — from watching paint bloom untouched to painting with your eyes closed — you’ll build technical skill in wet-on-wet watercolor while practicing the simple, surprisingly hard art of letting go. No experience necessary. Just bring your curiosity (and a willingness to make a few “mistakes”). All materials will be provided, and you will leave with both skills and a finished work of art!
