“A little while ago, we got to go check out @CarsonValleyNevada and @TahoeSouth as part of the @SierraSafely initiative. We were so impressed by all the area has to offer, especially for families! We loved being able to explore safely outside, relatively close to home.”
Over winter, Preethi Harbuck and her Local Passport Family of seven hopped into their RV for a well deserved adventure. They made the journey from the Bay Area to the Sierra, and immersed themselves in the outdoor recreation this region is known for.
While they were here they noshed on a fresh lunch from Cafe Girasole, filled up for a big day exploring River Fork Ranch and Dangberg Home Ranch, and grabbed take-out from Cook’d. Then they headed over the hill for a snowy adventure, and relaxing bike ride to the shore of Lake Tahoe.
