Most people know Carson Valley is a photographer’s paradise. Even an inexperienced student can capture a shot that will make your jaw drop and your eyes open wide while asking ‘Where IS that?”

Around here, all bets are off when you get to work with a true pro. Not just an explore-on-the-weekends-when-I-can pro, but a true, world traveling, avid adventurer-photographer with a keen eye for knowing how to construct a wicked good time and then capture it in a way that draws you in. It’s like you’re there with him.

That is what it’s like to work with director/photographer Corey Rich, an absolute world-class legend. Living at  South Lake Tahoe he’s surrounded by beautiful locales, that is when he’s not traveling to shoot the world’s top climbers. When Visit Carson Valley approached him about collaborating on a project together, he jumped on board. Find out about his experiences and new discoveries at his blog here. As is true with the best, you’re not only rewarded by the visuals, but equally by his insightful words. Plus, keep scrolling to get a peek at some of the stellar shots he captured.
