Books, Boots, and Ballads - 4th Annual Gala for the Douglas County Public Library

The Friends of the Douglas County Library, the Douglas County Public Library Foundation, and Douglas County Public Library staff members are teaming up to present the 4th Annual Gala fundraiser supporting the Douglas County Library – Books, Boots & Ballads on October 10, 2026. The event will be held in the Grand Ballroom at the Carson Valley Inn, and will include dinner, no-host cocktails, silent & live auctions, and a live concert featuring country music artist, Jakota Wass, and members of his band. Funds raised at the Gala will directly support these special Douglas County Public Library programs and projects:

• Senior Computer and Technology Training Program at the Library
• 7-Day Zephyr Cove Library Meeting Room Access when the Zephyr Cove Library is closed to the public
• Funding to support the Foundation’s long-term goal of expanding the Minden Library
