Hand-Knit Chunky Beach Lap Blanket

In this class, you’ll be using 6 different colored skeins of chunky yarn (plus green for the sea turtles) to create your beach lap blanket–4 different colors of blue, an off-white, and a tan. Using a wooden chunky blanket loom, you’ll will start with the tan and work your way through the six different colors. You can do your blanket in the color blocks shown in the photo or you can change colors more often (Example: you can do all the tan and then do smaller stripes of the remaining colors so they repeat multiple times). If you do not finish the length of your blanket in time you’ll be shown how to finish it at home without the wooden loom.

The lap blanket will be approximately 40″x50″ depending on how loose or tight you knit it.

Due to the length of the class, charcuterie will be provided. You are welcome to bring drinks and snacks as well.
