Blomma Flower Farm Guided Tour - Morning and Evening

Come see Blomma Flower Farm’s zinnia breeding fields in full bloom! They develop new varieties of zinnias not currently available on the public market in colors and sizes florists, event planners, and garden enthusiasts love. On Saturday, August 16, in their first ever event open to the local Gardnerville community, their guided tour will show you the whole process of how they do what they do. You’ll also get to see all the latest treasures they’re working on for the future. Walk the field, enter the isolation chambers and enjoy the general beauty of over two thousand zinnias in full bloom. There will be ample time for photos and copies of The Zinnia Breeder’s Handbook as well as limited quantities of exclusive seeds will be available for purchase.

For you photo buffs, Blomma Flower Farm will be hosting an evening tour later that day during golden hour. Come see the beauty of thousands of custom bred zinnias during the best light of the day. You’ll be guided through the field and the hoop house isolations, and you’ll be given plenty of time to shoot images at optimal lighting time.

Both tours will take place on Saturday, August 16. The first tour will be in the morning from 9:00am-10:30am. The evening tour will take place from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Each tour will be $15 per person.
