Ember Mud Run 2026

Join the East Fork Ember Foundation for the very first Ember Mud Run on September 12, 2026, supported in part by the Douglas County Rodeo.

This will be a first-of-its-kind sanctioned rodeo obstacle race in the region, blending Western tradition with modern endurance sport, hosted on the legendary grounds of Ranch One in Genoa.

The race involves teams of 5 working together to navigate a rigorous 10-kilometer course engineered to push physical and mental limits. Crawl through mud pits, scale the wall of hay, and conquer obstacle after obstacle against the breathtaking backdrop of the Sierra Nevada.

All participants must be 18 years of age.

Registration will take place from 6:00am to 8:00am, and the Race will take place from 8:00am to 1:00pm.
