Friends of the Douglas County Library Book Sale

Stock up your bookshelf and give new life to a variety of knowledge & entertainment resources,  all while supporting the local library! Friends of Douglas County Library is excited to bring back its annual Spring Book Sale!
An impressive selection of hardback and paperback fiction and nonfiction, vintage, teen, and children’s books, puzzles, and more will be available, so be sure to drop by and check it out. You’re almost certain to walk away with an incredible find!

The book sale will take place March 13 and 14 at the Minden Library, 1625 Library Lane. A preview sale for Friends of the Library will be held from noon to 2:00pm on Friday, March 13; non-members are welcome to join at the door. Members of the Friends receive a 10% discount on all purchases throughout the sale. The sale is open to the public starting at 2:00pm on Friday, March 13, and continues Saturday, March 14 from 10:00am -4:00pm, with a ½ price sale from 3:00pm to 4:00pm

Donations of 1 or 2 bags or small boxes of books are accepted at the library during regular hours. For larger donations, contact the library at 775-782-9841.

Proceeds from the book sales are used by the Friends to support library programs and projects for infants, preschoolers, children, “tweens”, teens, and adults. More information about the Friends of the Douglas County Library can be found on the library website (click here).
