History Presentation - Reflections of Lake Tahoe

Drawing on extensive research and seldom‑seen historic photographs, local authors and historians David and Gayle Woodruff explore the remarkable people, bold ideas, and pivotal events that have shaped this magnificent Sierra Nevada treasure. From the industrial might of the Comstock Lode to the long and colorful campaigns to establish a Lake Tahoe National Park, the stories of ‘Big Blue’ are surprisingly varied—sometimes dramatic, sometimes humorous, and always uniquely Tahoe.

This presentation will take place on September 13, 2026 from 1:00pm-2:15pm at Minden Mill Distilling. It’s free to attend, provided you have reserved a ticket.
